Capture One 12: Now Featuring FUJIFILM Film Simulation modes

Posted on

Fujifilm’s partnership with Phase One continues to develop with the release of Capture One FUJIFILM 12, the latest version of the popular image processing software.

FUJIFILM Film Simulation Compatibility

The most significant new feature of Capture One FUJIFILM 12 is that it now offers Fujifilm’s renowned in-camera Film Simulation modes for a selection of models. This means that photographers can select Film Simulation modes, such as CLASSIC CHROME, Velvia, and the newly developed ETERNA, as a foundation for editing their FUJIFILM files.

This is a welcome addition to an already extremely popular image processing program and has been well received throughout the FUJIFILM community.

The camera models supporting this new feature are the FUJIFILM X100F, X-E3, X-T20, X-T2, X-T3, X-H1, X-Pro2, GFX 50S, and GFX 50R.

Additional features introduced with this latest update include Radial, Linear, and Luminosity masks for better creative control and a refined user interface for the most efficient workflow.

Users can also enjoy easier keyboard shortcut management and the opening up of the plug-in ecosystem to allow for third-party extensions and, in turn, offer better integration possibilities.

Capture One FUJIFILM 12 Now Available

Capture One FUJIFILM 12 is now available for download from the Phase One website in three different forms: Capture One Express FUJIFILM, Capture One Pro FUJIFILM 12 and Capture One Pro FUJIFILM 12. Each one offers a different level of functionality to suit photographers’ varying needs.
