“HOME” is a collaborative project between FUJIFILM Corporation and Magnum Photos exploring the depth of meaning behind this word through the eyes of 16 Magnum Photographers.
Given an open brief to explore this subject, photographers were granted access to the mirrorless medium format FUJIFILM GFX camera system and/or various FUJIFILM X Series digital cameras to produce their vision of “HOME”. This project invites time-honored photographers to explore a universal subject familiar to us all. “HOME” is the project that unites curiosity, art and photojournalism to tell the stories closest to the hearts of these 16 Magnum Photographers.
The outcome of the “HOME” project is a global traveling exhibition of the photographers’ work to be featured in ten cities around the world starting March 2018 in New York City at Milk Gallery, and will be accompanied by a photo book. The printed exhibition will feature a combination of FUJIFILM’s color paper and Ilford’s black and white paper.
Photo-lovers from around the world are welcome to attend these exhibitions and explore these multiple concepts of “HOME”. The exhibition will also feature photo-based programming for attendees to enjoy, such as lectures, exhibition tours, and photo walks. Register for events now at HOME-Magnum.com.
