FUJIFILM has released its latest firmware update, making the most advanced X Series camera even better. Firmware Ver.1.10 is now available for download and adds new features to the already outstanding X-H1.
Great News for Photographers
Firmware Ver.1.10 introduces a new Focus Bracketing mode which allows photographers to shoot the same frame at multiple focus distances with the press of a button. These shots can then be combined in post-processing to create a single frame that has pin-sharp focus throughout. Phase detection autofocus (AF) has also been enhanced, bringing the maximum possible number of phase detection AF areas to six.
Great News for Videographers
One of the most exciting features of this upgrade is the added compatibility with the FUJINON MKX18-55mmT2.9 and FUJINON MKX50-135mmT2.9 cinema lenses. These lenses are the first of their kind for the X Series range, and they bring the magic of award-winning FUJIFILM movie production values to Fujifilm’s popular mirrorless system. In addition to this, the update adds enhanced phase detection AF when shooting movies.
Great News for Everyone
There are also some great general improvements. For example, Bluetooth® connectivity via the FUJIFILM Camera Remote app has been enhanced and now allows you to pair with up to seven devices and to take pictures remotely. After updating your firmware, on-screen information will be customizable and resizable, making it easier than ever to find the information you need. And finally, IS mode can be assigned to an Fn button, making it quick and easy to access.
