Markus Klinko Celebrates Cultural Icons and FUJIFILM Photography in Beverly Hills

Markus Klinko originally moved to Paris in the late seventies to study at the Paris Conservatoire with the aim of becoming a classical concert harpist. Fate would lead Markus to encounter the eye-catching images on the covers of French fashion magazines, images that would have a profound effect on his future creative output.

As a direct result of that moment of inspiration in Paris, Markus would go on to become a hugely successful international fashion, beauty, and celebrity photographer. Over the years, he has shot icons such as David Bowie, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyoncé.

Fast-forward around 40 years and Markus is now an internationally acclaimed photographer who just enjoyed a successful exhibition in Beverly Hills, in partnership with Fujifilm.

An exhibition of his work entitled “2000’s” celebrates some of his best work from the first decade of the 21stcentury, and recently dazzled the crowds at Mouche Gallery in Beverly Hills, California.

The exhibition, made possible by FUJIFILM North America Corporation, featured a collection of images all printed on high quality FUJICOLOR Crystal Archive Pearl Paper. Select FUJIFILM cameras Markus used to capture his iconic shots were also on display, including the mirrorless medium format GFX 50S, which he used to capture images of Becky G for the exhibition.

Fujifilm frequently teams up with outstanding photographers to present exhibitions, talks, and workshops for the FUJIFILM community. For more information about future exhibitions in partnership with Fujifilm, be sure to bookmark our Events page.
