Born in Manila, FUJIFILM X-Photographer Rinzi Ruiz studied graphic design and computer animation at the Art Institute of Los Angeles. After 12 years in the design industry, Rinzi found a passion for photography and made the switch to FUJIFILM gear.
Now known for his street photography, which makes powerful use of light and shadow, Rinzi was a featured photographer in the LA Times Framework. His images have been featured in the LA Times SoCal Moments, Light It Magazine, The Candid Frame Podcast, Inspired Eye Magazine, Art Photo Feature, Fotoflock by Epson, and Backyard Opera. His work has been exhibited at the Hatakeyama Gallery and The Think Tank Gallery.
